Bennett Family Reunion Pics-2010

Pics from the August 1st 2009 BENNETT Family Reunion held at the Sizerville State Park, Emporium, PA with 45 family members and friends in attendances.

DEATHS

In February 2009 we Bennett's lost two octogenarians in our BENNETT family.

1. Franklin Lee Wheaton, Layton Bennett's nephew died in DuBois Hospital of a heart attack on February 12, 2009. He was 99 years old and would have been 100 on April 4, 2009.

2. Margaret Irene Grieco of Tucson, AZ, Layton's second cousin died in Tucson on February 22, 2009 at 88 years of age. I knew Margaret through genealogy and had never met her in person, but she certainly seemed like a very nice Lady. Margaret was born May 8, 1920 in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of Grant Wagner and the former Grace Bennett. Grace Bennett was the daughter of John A. Bennett of Jersey Shore, PA.

May God Rest both their soul's in peace.

BIRTHS

Likewise, we have had two births and one adoption in our Bennett family since our 2008 reunion.

1. Micah Christopher Coppock son of Katie Renee Ramsey Coppock and Christopher John Coppock was born on December 22, 2008 at DuBois Hospital. He is the grandson of Cindy & Alan Ramsey and the great grandson of Lois Rader and the late Robert C. Bennett.

1. Aaron Ryan Bennett son of Ryan Adam Bennett and Andrea Muroski was born on February 24th at DuBois Hospital. He is the grandson of Ben & Candy Bennett and the great grandson of Pete & Ursula Bennett and the late Doris K. Bennett. Aaron weighted in at 8 lbs 4 ozs.

3. Samuel Page Bennett Henry who was adopted by Richard Robert Henry and Christina Louise Smith Henry, was born on July 21, 2008 and is the grandson of Richard B. Henry and Blanch Idella Bennett Henry. Great grandparents are the late Layton and Esther Snyder Bennett and the late Reuben Henry and Jesse Blouvelt Henry.
