Recently a friend of ours, Ida May Hiemke, passed away. Her daughter, Rita Hale, gave us an old book.
This book, A Photo Album of the Past, Pioneer Scenes and Portraits from Central Wisconsin, by Malcolm & Margaret Rosholt, included the photo of Lt. Nels Anderson who
was commissioned a Lieutenant in Co. D. 47th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment.
Lt. Anderson served from 11 February 1865 to 18 June 1865 at which time he resigned. Should you desire further information please feel free to contact me.
